Impressed ? How Do I Install it on hardy heron ? Follow these simple steps.

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

Add these lines

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/banshee-team/ubuntu hardy main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/banshee-team/ubuntu hardy main

Save and close the file.

Update your repos

sudo apt-get update

Install Banshee-1

sudo apt-get install banshee-1

Run Banshee

banshee-1

A patched version of pidgin music tracker can be downloaded from here. This works well with banshee-1.
